mcdonalds case study scanlite

LED Displays with added flavour.

With 1200 restaurants across the UK, there’s not much McDonalds doesn’t know about opening successful stores. But when it came to LED displays for its Blackpool seafront restaurant, McDonalds turned to Scanlite for a little help. The restaurant sits prominently on Blackpool’s promenade, lit by a series of LED display screens. The screens needed to be able to withstand the regular pounding of 70mph+ winds, the corrosive effects of salt air and frequent showers of sea spray.

Scanlite installed a series of front facing, full colour LED video displays. They have an IP65 rating, giving the LED displays powerful protection from the elements. And they show that, even in harsh environments, Scanlite can install screens that can show any business at its best, even when the weather’s doing its worst. “I believe McDonalds chose us for three reasons;says Adam Carter, Scanlite’s Sales & Marketing Manager, the technical capability to deliver what they needed, the service levels to deliver the project on time and to specification, and the commitment to value to deliver it all for an exceptional price.
